Remodel at HPC Swaziland

Healing Place Church Swaziland has outgrown it’s auditorium so it’s remodeling time! We knocked out the children’s classrooms that used to be in the back of this large former furniture showroom and turned the stage to now be along wall opposite the door. This also eliminated our restrooms that were on the church side, so we built a hallway leading to the restrooms on the “cup” side. HPC and Children’s Cup share space so we refer to things as the church side or the cup side. We also created a video room and sound booth in the back right of the auditorium. The stage is much larger than our old stage and is higher and has a nifty place for the monitors under the stage.
Off of the hallway leading to the restrooms we created two new offices and a large storage closet that was formerly really just wasted space. Downstairs in our split level office, we have replaced full size desks with workstations each with its own electrical plug. No more bartering with everyone when you need to plug in your laptop; it will be clear which plug belongs to you. It’s also very nice because in an area that could only hold 6-7 people comfortably, we can now have up to 12 people sitting with their own work space.
